And now a very special addition!

Coming soon! Two versions of our own, 12Vdc, self contained, DVD recorder.
One model has an 80 GB HDD with all the "Bells and Whistles" including TIME LAPSE, and the other a "Direct to Burn" DVD Recorder. Completely portable and does not need a PC! Just Video in, and a 12Vdc supply.
And yes, they do record stereo audio.

Something to know and remember, about Wire:

You really don't always have to use COAX to carry video, even over 50 yards! A good shielded wire will work too! See below.

COP-ULTRA2 (A big hit at NATIA 2006)

A 2 core shielded, Teflonc coated, that's less than 2mm (3/32" in diameter). EXPENSIVE! But you can wire a shirt for less than $20. Now available in white; grey and dark brown. The white is lost in the seams of dress shirts. The brown is lost in the seams of outer clothing, and of course, cracks in floor boards.

Part numbers COP-ULTRA2/B or /W.

This wire is PRICED by the foot with a minimum of 20 feet.

We stock various types of wire for covert installations, including both 50 and 75 Ohm MINIATURE COAX, ideally suited for body worn cameras and microphones. The wire is highly flexible and very small in diameter. This coax is less than 1.27mm dia!

The 75 AND 50 Ohm coax is only available in 165 foot reels.

COP-2WIRE (Another repeat hit at NATIA 2006)

However, our most popular wire is the COP-2WIRE which comes in 330 foot reels, it is a 2 core shielded wire that is perfect for CCD installations when the shield is used as a common ground. Red for power, Blue for video, shield for common ground. Or, when used for audio, you can have a single Knowlesc as a three wire mic.

The COP-2WIRE is highly flexible and can be tied into knots without ill effects on video or audio. We have supplied miles of this covert install wire. Miles of it! This wire is less than 1/8th inch in diameter and colored gray.

Also gray in color is another popular, flexible cable. This four core individually shielded wire of less than 1/4 inch diameter is another popular choice for covert audio and video installations. The number is COP-4WIRE. It too can be tied in knots without ill effect.

COP-SINK-4

Some interesting news regarding this product! On December 1, 2103 - 330 feet of this wire, an entire reel, was used on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico to lower one of our small color cameras to the bottom for some observations. Clear images were obtained and no losses or interference were detected. The red core was used for power (12Vdc), the yellow core was 'doubled' with the clear core to carry the video, while the blue was 'doubled' with the bare Drain core for a common ground return path.

Our COP-SINK-4, which is a four core, plus drain (sink) wire. Less than 1/4 inch (5mm) in diameter, it is of unusual design, with the four insulated cores and the bare Drain wire encased in a semi-conductor material which is then encased with a normal pliable plastic outer sheath. The semi conductor material converts to a synthetic shield when the bare drain wire is used as a common ground for the other conductors. This reduces weight and overall size.
Comes on 100 meter reels. (330 feet)
