Coming soon! Two versions of our own, 12Vdc, self contained, DVD recorder.
One model has an 80 GB HDD with all the "Bells and Whistles" including TIME LAPSE, and the other a "Direct to Burn" DVD Recorder. Completely portable and does not need a PC! Just Video in, and a 12Vdc supply.
And yes, they do record stereo audio.

bare bores TX unit

Eight (8) Channel 2.4GHz Transmitter and Receiver System.

While this unit was made to be able to communicate with the vast majority of commercially available Video and Audio (V&A) receivers on channels 1, 2, 3, and 4; it has the added advantage of an additional 4 channels not available on the vast majority of commercially available Video and Audio (V&A) systems.

System includes: One, 8 channel 2.4GHz 5Vdc Transmitter with bare PCB 'patch' antenna, One "AA" battery pack to power the transmitter, One matching 8 channel Receiver with remote controller and wall power supply for the receiver. (110 VAC 60Hz with NTSC version and 220 VAC 50Hz with PAL system.) Additional 8 channel receivers are available providing the ability to simultaneously monitor the transmission from several locations, such as the front and back of a building.

Transmitters and Receivers may also be purchased as various system setups, including with a digital Video & Audio Recorder with a monitor fitted into a small case with built in battery pack and charger, or with a DVAR that has its own built-in monitor.

Power Output is 100mW (20dbM)

Transmitter operates on 5 to 6 Vdc

Receiver may be setup for 12Vdc or 5Vdc operation

Our popular 5Vdc cameras, in either NTSC or PAL, work well with this setup.

5Vdc cameras

The Audio channel may use an external microphone or one may be hard-wired to the board

Dimensions: 27mm x 25mm x 10mm

Weight: 18grams

Channels are set on the transmitter via 3 'DIP' switches, and are normally changed on the receiver via an IR remote controller. The remote controller can also be used to block off other channels when they not needed.

CE and FCC approved.

Just to give a proper perspective to the size of this really small, Eight (8) Channel 2.4GHz Transmitter, here's a simple comparison...
