It is worth mentioning that we didn't increase or maintain our customer base by ever publicly boasting about who buys what from us. As we are receiving more inquiries from the EU on a daily basis, and as our CEO is a Brit, it seems logical to open an office and service center there. Added to which it will make it easier to acquire UK and EU products for distribution in North America. Since 1991, we have regularly imported from the UK, China, Taiwan and the EU and sold to Agencies and certain Reseller's in the US, as we can provide the necessary and essential 'local 'backup' in the US from our offices in Georgia. One of the things we DON'T DO. We are often asked, "Why don't you have a printed catalog?" There are, in our opinion, already too many companies eager to have the products they sell to Law Enforcement shown and being used in "Exposé TV" Shows. The same applies to printed catalogs. We believe in a "Need to Know" policy. Sadly, others don't care... We Do Not use customer names when offering products to others. Buy or even inquire from us, and only 'we' will know about it. 'We' are Special Surveillance Supply LLC, that came from Complete Police Supply Ltd., that in turn came from Special Surveillance Products Inc. The 'Brand Name' for our products is MIDNITEYES, and has been since 1991. The name came from having to explain at what low light levels, and time of day that our modified camcorder would still work. "Midnight?" "Yes!" Back in 1991, our CEO made the first commercially available to Law Enforcement and the Military, Infra Red sensitive COLOR video Camcorder equipped with a focusable INFRA RED Laser. It was called the "MIDNITEYES~66" and a large number were sold to State and Federal Investigative Agencies, as well as the Military. In the early 1990's a section in one US Military Group, bought a significant number, as did various SoF groups. Complete Police Supply has, since 1991, designed, built and supplied covert surveillance products EXCLUSIVELY to Law Enforcement, the Military, and as well as some other manufacturers and distributors, and it is from this background that the systems offered on this site have evolved.
